What is a Slim & Tight?
Our Slim & Tight treatment uses monopolar radiofrequency and ultrasound to promote collagen growth to tighten and smoothen skin. S&T Face restores volume while S&T Body melts fat and reduces body circumference.
What is monopolar radiofrequency?
Monopolar radiofrequency bulk heats the tissue all the way to the hypodermis to deeply deliver energy to deliver effective results.
What does S&T feel like?
During the treatment, you will feel very intense heat. If at any time, the treatment feels too hot for you, please let us know and we will adjust the settings to your comfort.
Will I see results right away?
There will be immediate plumping in the face and possibly tightening in the body, but the best results come in 4 treatments. This timing is best to sync skin tightening to tissue changes.
How can S&T build volume and melt fat at the same time?
S&T has two separate device heads. The face applicator builds volume while the body applicator melts fat and reduces body circumference.
How is S&T different from V-Lift? Which one should I do?
Both machines promote collagen growth and tighten skin, but each has its own strength. V-Lift has an immediate and lasting lift and slimming effect while Slim & Tight is good at reaching the eye, nasolabial, and marionette area to restore volume loss and blur lines.
Why does it take 4 treatments to see results?
After stimulating collagen growth, the body needs time to build collagen and the process need to be repeated to achieve critical mass. The body also needs time to absorb and eliminate fat cells.
Is fat loss permanent? Can I gain it back?
Once S&T melts fat, it is permanent. The best way to keep your gains is to have a healthy diet and lifestyle. If calorie intake is more than calories burned, the body will produce new fat cells.
Why is the treatment so hot? Can I get burned?
The treatment is hot because the delivery of energy is what triggers collagen growth and fat apoptosis (cell destruction). But the treatment is safe. We use gel to cool the skin surface down. The device head has a temperature sensor to regulate its heat delivery. And anytime you feel uncomfortable, our Associates will adjust the power level to suit you.
Are there side effects to the Slim & Tight?
There may be redness and slight swelling in treated areas immediately after, but they will quickly subside. There may also be increased sensitivity to heat due to retained heat in the tissue so we recommend avoiding heat exposure for 1-2 days. Your skin may also feel a bit dry so use a moisturizer and drink lots of fluids.
How do I care for my skin after the Slim & Tight?
Slim & Tight has no downtime. Stay cool, hydrated, and keep your skin moisturized. Use SPF to protect your skin from sun exposure. If the eye area has some swelling, sleep in an elevated position with 2 pillows to encourage lymph drainage.
